These three designs easily equal and often exceed many modern performance hulls capabilities.

The century old Adirondack Guideboat is the epitome of construction and design. No other rowboat combines the speed, carrying capacity or portability found in these unique craft.

Its heritage has been proven by countless guides, travelers, sportsmen and even racers. This American work boat was used to transport people and all of their gear over varying water routes, while being light enough for the portaging over land obstacles.

Its unique design, perfected over many years of use and development, is as significant now as it was in the 1800's.

Seating three people in comfort, while traveling thirty miles in an easy day, these craft are safe and move easily.

Elegant with an uncompromisingly beautiful shape, these hand built, custom craft will bring you much pride of ownership.

Guideboats are an extraordinarily beautiful craft, as practical today as when they were first built. They work well on sheltered streams, open lakes, boundary waters or your favorite waterway at sunset.

St. Lawrence River Skiff

The St. Lawrence River Skiff was built as a rowing and sailing craft for usage in a very hostile environment.

First built near the confluence of the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario, it was indigenous to the open waters of the Great Lakes and swift currents of the river.

The skiff was a work boat used for a guide's livelihood, raced over long, rough distances, to be the first at the choice fishing spots.

Sailing with their efficient Sprit sailing rigs the boat's extraordinary handling and stability characteristics, ensured that the open water trips were safe and swift.

Fly fishing, sailing, sliding seat rowing and tripping are only a few of the pleasures you may enjoy with this classical craft. It's a handsome boat, with its beautiful wood construction. Its superb performance will leave you wanting little else.
